Pasta with Mushrooms in Cream Sauce

This is a pretty simple recipe for quick cooking if you are short on time. This recipe is ideal for pasta lovers. You do not need to buy a pre-made sauce off the shelf. Just prepare your own sauce with fresh cream and some very basic ingredients.

 

Things you need for this recipe

1. 400 grams of diced mushrooms

2. Two tomatoes

3. Fresh cream 500ml

4. Any pasta of your choice 500 grams

5. 1 Onion

6. Spices: Paprika, Salt, Coriander powder - Alternatively use curry powder if you like

7. Ginger Paste

How to prepare this recipe

1. Prepare pasta by boiling hot water for 12 minutes. Pour into a colander and cool with running water to avoid sticking. 

2. Cut the onion in rings and fry it in a little bit of olive oil

3. Add tomatoes, ginger paste and spices mentioned above

4. When the oil starts moving to the side add the thick cream to the mixture and cover with a lid.

5. Cook on low heat for 5-6 minutes until the sauce thickens.

6. Pour the sauce over the pasta and serve.
