A traditional soup, easy to make, to enjoy the icy nights of winter.

Chicken Soup Recipe

Ingredients for Chicken Soup:

  • 1 kg chicken
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 6-7 pieces of ginger and garlic
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 tbsp white vinegar
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • 2 green chilies
  • 2 white vinegar (again)
  • 1/4 tbsp black cumin
  • 3 eggs
  • 5 tbsp cornflour

 Method for Preparation of Chicken Soup:

01Put the chicken in a pot along with 2 liters of water. Add salt, ginger, garlic, cinnamon stick and white vinegar.

02Cover the pot with a lid and let it cook for half an hour.

03Remove the excess foam forming on the water surface and cook for another few minutes until the water starts changing its color.

04Once chicken broth is formed, separate the chicken and other ingredients from the broth.

05Shred the chicken into small pieces, mash the garlic with a fork and put it back inside the broth along with the chicken.

06Add black pepper, green chilies, cumin and vinegar.

07Put the 3 eggs in a bowl, mix them well and slowly add the mixture into the pot while stirring the broth at the same time.

08Add some water to the cornflour and slowly add the cornflour mixture to the pot just like the eggs.

Your delicious chicken soup is ready, serve with bread or sandwiches and enjoy!
