Keema is a traditional South Asian meat dish. It is typically minced mutton curry with peas or potatoes.

List of Ingredients for Keema:

Before Cooking Ingredients:

  • 1/2 kg mince
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 pieces of cinnamon sticks
  • 3 pieces of black cardamom
  • 2 onions
  • 1 whole garlic bulb

After cooking ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp red chili powder.
  • 1/2 tbsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp whole black pepper
  • 1 tsp black cumin
  • 1 tbsp dry coriander
  • 1 tbsp cumin seeds
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 3 green chilies
  • Ginger
  • Half lemon cut into small pieces

 Method for Preparation of Keema:

01Mix all of the before cooking ingredients together inside a cooking pot.

02Cook for 30 minutes.

03After 30 minutes add 1/2 cup of oil.

04Add all the after-cooking ingredients and mix them well.

05Cook for a few more minutes and add coriander and mint on top.

Your delicious keema is ready. Serve it with naan and garlic.
