Anday ka Halwa Recipe (Egg Halwa)


Anday ka halwa or anday ka meeta is a brilliant way to use eggs in dessert. It is a rich halwa made with ghee and nuts and is an excellent quick dessert.

Ingredients for Anday ka Halwa Recipe:

  • 4 eggs
  • 2 bread slices
  • 1/2 cup cream 
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 ghee or desi ghee
  • 3/4 of a cardamom
  • 6-7 sliced, grated almonds

Method for Preparation of Anday ka Halwa Recipe:

01Blend the eggs, bread slices, cream and sugar in a food processor or a blender.

02In a saucepan, add the ghee and cardamom. Stir these two ingredients for a few seconds till the cardamom starts to leave an aroma.

03Now add the egg mix on low heat and start cooking and keep stirring till it is dry and leave the side of the pan.

04Garnish with sliced almonds and serve hot.
