Try out this amazing grilled fish recipe especially made for seafood lovers to enjoy the winter season. Grilled fish can be eaten for lunch or dinner.

Ingredients for Glazed Grilled Fish:

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp fruit chutney
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp chopped coriander (cilantro)
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 4 snapper fillets

Method for Preparation of Glazed Grilled Fish:

01Combine oil, lemon juice, fruit chutney, honey, coriander and crushed garlic in a small jug.

02Place fish fillets in a large non-metallic dish. Pour oil mixture over fish.

03Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour. Transfer fish fillets to cold, lightly oiled grill (broiler) tray and cook under high heat, brushing with remaining marinade occasionally, for 4 minutes each side or until tender.

04Serve with lemon slices, if needed or desired.

Side Notes By the Chef:

  • Storage Time: The marinade can be made several hours ahead. Brush over fish and cook just before serving.
  • Variation: Substitute any firm-fleshed fish such as salmon or ling.
